AMX Completes Upgrade to EnterpriseOne 8.12 for Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority.

Idaho Falls, Idaho — October 03, 2007

AMX International, Inc., a leader in providing Complete Enterprise Software Solutions that FitTM and an Oracle Certified Partner, announced today the successful upgrade of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12 for Central Puget Sound Regional Transit Authority.

Sound Transit has been a customer of AMX International, Inc. since 2000. After a successful upgrade to 8.10 in July of 2006, Sound Transit decided to upgrade to version 8.12 of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne with the knowledge that this new release had worked out many of the issues their current 8.10 version had presented. In November of 2006, the 8.12 upgrade was completed on time and on budget.

“We chose AMX because of their reputation, track record and their extensive CNC experience,” says Jason Weiss, IT Business Systems Manager for Sound Transit. “We have our own CNC people, but the extensive knowledge and expertise that AMX brought to the table made for a smooth, painless upgrade.”

Sound Transit considers the upgrade victorious and is benefiting from the new features that are part of version 8.12. Weiss continues, “We are really satisfied with EnterpriseOne 8.12. It’s faster, more stable, and has been very successful.”

JD Edwards EnterpriseOne 8.12 Human Capital Management now includes employee scheduling, enhanced time and labor and employee and manager self-service capabilities. Also, customer relationship management applications delivered in the previous release of EnterpriseOne have been enhanced to drive greater visibility into customer service operations. In addition, the Fixed Asset Management module has been enhanced to facilitate today's complex accounting and regulatory requirements.

“In AMX, we found a solution provider with extensive upgrade expertise that augmented our internal project team. The AMX team was sharp, on top of everything and well educated in providing CNC architect and developer resources that fit our needs,” says Weiss.
